Description
SwissDRG AG develops the system of DRGs (flat rates per case) in Switzerland, on behalf of the cantons, health insurance companies and hospitals. For this purpose, all hospitals deliver their anonymized patient and cost data in the form of text or CSV files to SwissDRG every year. This is done via a web application.
The DRG system consists of rules that determine into which DRG a patient case is grouped. Annually, SwissDRG AG releases a new version of this system, which has been adapted to changes in medicine and the population.
