GOhack24 - Symposium, bug bounty challenge & EDU program

GOhack24: Cybersecurity for all - with over CHF 50'000 in bounties

After last year’s resounding success, GOhack is back for its second edition from November 14 to 16, 2024, at the Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS) in Zurich. This unique event brings together a symposium, live bug bounty challenge with over CHF 50'000 in bounties, and an educational program focused on practical insights into cybersecurity.

Cybercrime: Searching for solutions

GOhack24 kicks off on November 14 with a symposium that brings together leading figures from politics, academia, and business. At the heart of the discussion are pressing questions surrounding cybercrime: What is the current state in Switzerland? How do law enforcement, government, and the private sector collaborate to combat cyberattacks? What legal frameworks are in place? And how do you respond in a crisis? Attendees will gain insights into how the human brain makes decisions in critical situations and how ethical hacking is used as a preventative measure to tackle future threats.

Bettina Zimmermann, CEO and crisis management expert, and Wolfgang Maier, a neuropsychologist, will provide insights into decision-making in cyber crises. The evening will close with an engaging panel discussion featuring Jon Fanzun, Managing Director of SWICO; Ursula Sury, Vice Director of HSLU; Marcel Eyer, Co-CEO of GObugfree and ethical hacker Simon Reinhart. Guests are invited to stay for an apéro riche and networking.
