About the GOhack EDU Track

October 29-30 2026, Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS) Zürich

GOhack brings together decision-makers, cybersecurity experts, ethical hackers, and IT talents under one roof. It's all about practical knowledge sharing, from technical deep dives and live demos to lstrategic perspectives, governance topics, and lessons learned from real-world security programs.

We welcome contributions from all experience levels, especially those that highlight real-world challenges, new developments, or fresh perspectives.

Submit your idea

Session formats

Talks

  • 30 minutes, including Q&A
  • Ideal for technical insights, case studies, lessons learned, governance topics, or leadership and strategy perspectives.

Workshops

  • 45 or 75 minutes
  • Hands-on sessions with practical takeaways

Language

We aim for a balanced mix of German and English talks. Business-focused sessions are typically in German, while tech talks are often in English to reach an international audience.

Audience

Our audience ranges from curious newcomers to seasoned professionals. We welcome sessions for all skill levels. Please indicate the target audience in the submission form.

Suggested topics

We're open to talks and workshops on all things cybersecurity, including (but not limited to):

  • Incident response and crisis management
  • Security leadership, CISO challenges, and board communication
  • Supply chain and third-party risk
  • AI governance and security implications
  • Security awareness and human risk
  • Building and scaling security programs in SMEs
  • Compliance, regulation, and resilience (e.g., NIS2, DORA)
  • Secure development, DevSecOps, and automation
  • Security operating models and measuring security impact (KPIs, risk & ROI)
  • OSINT, cryptography, and more
  • Hands-on security workshops (CTF, etc.)

Service providers

Service providers in the cybersecuity space are welcome to submit ideas through the Call for Speakers process. Your talk will be reviewed alongside other contributions. If selected, speaking slots for service providers are usually tied to a partner package.

How to submit

We are looking for practical takeaways, real-world experience, and clarity on what attendees will learn. Please note that we don’t accept purely promotional or product-focused submissions.
