For many companies, a bug bounty program is a valuable addition to traditional security measures such as security assessments, audits and pentesting. However, a bug bounty program is only one piece of the overall picture and must be integrated accordingly into existing risk and security management processes.

Çelebi explains, "We are finding that customers need additional support beyond the bug bounty program. There needs to be an overarching strategy on how to deal with vulnerabilities in the context of the company's cyber risk exposure." Çelebi's goal is to help companies build and embed the necessary processes to take full advantage of the new security approaches.

Çelebi has more than 17 years of experience in cyber security. In addition to his role at GObugfree, he is a partner and CCO at FortIT. Previously, he worked in strategy consulting for seven years, most recently as a Director at EY, where he advised enterprise clients on cyber security strategy and risk management. Before that, Çelebi was lead engineer in an agile development team and integration architect responsible for architecture design and integration of comprehensive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions into enterprise infrastructures of major Swiss banks. Prior to consulting, he worked as a system architect for authentication solutions at Credit Suisse, gained experience with cryptographic protocols at IBM Research, and worked at SIX Group, where he specialized in ATM security.

"The ever-changing cyber threat landscape makes it difficult for organizations to build the expertise needed to identify vulnerabilities in a timely manner. With GObugfree, customers can benefit from a large expert community, continuous security testing, and standardized, high quality reporting."

Çelebi is convinced that GObugfree offers the right solutions for the prevailing strong demand and that the Swissness factor further increases customer confidence.
